La Tarte Flambee – Alsatian Delights & an Outdoor Garden

Outdoor Dining | Restaurants for Grownups

153 East 33rd Street

This is a wonderful little Murray Hill find.  It’s tucked away on 33rd street, and would be easy to walk by.  BUT DON’T.  It’s a charming little Alsatian eatery that specialies in savory & sweet tarts, plus regional wine & beer. The tarts are prepared in a wood burning oven and they are beyond delicious.  The handsome young owner, Mathias, is charming and very customer service oriented.  An added bonus in nice weather, is their beautiful outdoor patio which you would never expect from the outside.  You’ll feel like you’re in Europe.
