Moore Brothers. Many oenophiles think this is the best wine shop in NYC. The Moore brothers import the wines they select themselves from small vineyards in the countryside’s of France, Germany and Italy. Prices are good too, with many selections under $15. They also have a large loft area upstairs that they often make available to non-profits for events.

Totally agree! Moore Brothers sets the standard for customer service, not to mention carrying fine wines, at a fair price, transported and stored under perfect storage conditions. Have a favorite recipe that needs a pairing, Moore Brothers knowledgeable personnel will provide the wine and several alternatives as well. All of their people have previous experience in the wine and restaurant industry, have tasted everything in their inventory and love their work; not surprising when you consider that their boss, Greg Moore, is among the most knowledgeable, passionate and charitable figures in the wine world. New Yorkers have a great asset in Moore Brothers … we gladly travel over 100 miles to shop at one of three stores in NY, NJ or DE.
